Dhaulasidh HEP

The Dhaulasidh Hydro Electric Project with capacity of 66 MW is located on river Beas, part of the Indus basin, in Hamirpur & Kangra districts of Himachal Pradesh. The project is designed as a Run of the River project with a small live storage that would be utilized for peaking power during the lean season.

The project holds potential of generating 304 million units of electric energy in a 90% dependable year.
