SJVN has carried out numerous innovations during construction, operation, and maintenance of projects. A few of them are listed below:

  • 200 T capacity cable anchors for stabilization of hill slopes in dam and intake areas.
  • DRESS Methodology (Drainage Reinforcement-Excavation-Support Solution) to tackle poor ground conditions.
  • Tandem operation of NJHPS and RHPS.
  • Hard coating of underwater turbine parts using Tungsten Carbide powder with HVOF technique — indigenously developed in the NJHPS Hard Coating Workshop.
