Jakhol Sankri HEP

The Jakhol Sankri HEP with a proposed capacity of 44 MW is located on river Supin, a tributary of river Tons and part of river Yamuna in the Ganga basin, in Uttarkashi district of Uttarakhand. The project is designed as a run-of-the-river project and has the potential to generate 166 MU of energy in a year. A Memorandum of Understanding for the execution of the project was signed with the Government of Uttarakhand on November 21, 2005.

The Project shall be financed on 70:30 debt equity ratio. As per TEA of DPR by GoUk, cost of the project at April, 2016 price level is Rs. 477.15crores.
