Shri Pankaj Porwal, an Indian Telecommunication Service (ITS 1994), assumed the charge of Chief Vigilance Officer, SJVN Ltd. under the Ministry of Power, Government of India on 24.11.2025.

Sh. Pankaj Porwal, a B.Tech graduate in Electronics & Communication from NIT Jaipur , has a distinguished career spanning multiple key government sectors. With more than 15 years of experience in telecom installation and operations, he has served in MTNL, BSNL and the Department of Telecommunications (DoT).

He has contributed significantly to national security, telecom service compliance, and rural connectivity during his tenure as Director in DoT LSA units under the Ministry of Communication.

Prior to his current role, he served as Principal General Manager, Telecom Business Area Head, Bareilly , demonstrating strong leadership and technical acumen across diverse assignments.
